Information
The Sorteerden is the second of the seven breeds of Settic demons that exclusively serve Bane. It's purpose is to sort through those souls condemned to Bane's realm upon their journey into the afterlife and deposit them throughout the realm appropriately (neck-deep in leech-infested waters, head-first in a pool of lava, strapped down before a Straffen, etc). As they are created by Bane, even though they are lowly so far as Settic are concerned, they are held in higher esteme than all Baatezu, Tanar'ri and other extraplanar entities that find themselves ensnared in the Demiplane of Power.
